Cara Bennett, Associate at Langley Twigg, was recently invited to speak at the Takitimu Indigenous Peoples Conference in Hawkes Bay. Cara specialises in Maori Legal Services and her presentation was on the topic of joint ventures and how to interact with iwi.

Cara has a long term interest in Maori related matters and is a Trustee of the Hawkes Bay Maori Business Network. In this role she is able to expand upon her desire to assist Maori in managing their own businesses and resources. She is also a member of the Maori Law Society.
The Conference was a platform for investment opportunities, with the intention of bringing Maori business to the Bay.
