Langley Twigg Law Hawke's Bay

In September 2010 Cara Bennett, Associate at Langley Twigg, was elected as a Trustee of the Hawke's Bay Māori Business Network.

Cara has had a long term interest in Māori related matters and believes this position is a natural consequence of the work that she does.  It presents Cara with an opportunity to expand upon her desire to assist Māori in managing their own businesses and resources.

The Hawke’s Bay Māori Business Network (HBMBN) is an informal group of local Māori in business who came together in 2008. The group was established as the result of research undertaken by EIT Hawke’s Bay on the training needs of Māori businesses in the area which identified networking as a valuable form of contact for Māori in business.

Cara is a specialist in the field of Māori Land Law and is actively studying Te Reo.
