Alison has more than ten years' experience in civil litigation and commercial law, specialising in resource management.

She has appeared in the District and High Courts, Maori Land Court, the Environment Court and the Court of Appeal. Alison also has in-depth knowledge of local government issues.

Alison is currently the Chair of the Hawke's Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust, the Hawke's Bay Resource Management Association and sits on the Princess Alexandra Medical Trust.

Alison joined Langley Twigg in May 2004 and became a Partner in July 2006.
